This scenic park is located at 554 N 6th Street near downtown Prescott. The park's main entrance is off of Sixth Street, but it can be accessed by the Greenways Trail off of Madison Ave. AC Williams/Granite Creek Park is 21 acres of rest, relaxation, and fun. Granite Creek Park is a larger, spacious park that can easily handle community events. The large ramada comfortably seats 70 to 80 people with a capacity of up to 100 people. Nearby are accessible barbeque grills, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and restrooms. Also near the ramada is a playground which has swings, slides, springing and climbing structures that without a doubt will wear out the young ones. There are many picnic sites as well with nearly 30 tables and 12 grills elsewhere. The park provides a large turf area for casual recreation and leisure activities. Every April, Granite Creek Park is home to the annual Earth Day event. The park is well shaded with 60 towering trees. Inside the park is a 1/2 mile jogging path with access to the Mile-High Trail System of Prescott.
