Watson Woods Riparian Preserve

Managed by Prescott Creeks, Watson Woods is a 125-acre riparian preserve with hiking trails, interpretive signs and wildlife viewing beginning at 1626 Sundog Ranch Road. Take Highway 89 north, turn right on Prescott Lakes Parkway, cross the bridge, and take the first left onto Sundog Ranch Road. Parking is at the Peavine Trailhead. This former sand and gravel quarry is slowly returning to a model riparian area.
* Off-Season hours are from the Tuesday after Labor Day through the Friday before Memorial Day.
** Summer hours are from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
