Proposed/Upcoming Projects

Status: Preliminary engineering has been performed, along with an estimate of costs for the proposed participants. The public portion of the system within the streets or City easements between lots, is estimated to cost about $11,000 per participant. This cost would form the basis for an annual assessment on each participant's property tax bill, an amount sufficient to pay the $11,000 total over a twenty (20) to twenty-five (25) year period.

For those with failed septic systems, those who wish to connect to the public system due to problems experienced in the past, or owners of undeveloped lots which cannot support a septic system, the cost to connect to the public portion of the system in the street will be highly variable, but is estimated to range from $7,500 to $16,000.
