Free Residential Brush Drop-off for City Residential Customers July 13-31

Wednesday, July 10, 2013

PRESCOTT, AZ (July 10, 2013) - In an effort to help City of Prescott residents increase defensible space for wildland fire safety, the City will offer free brush/slash drop off to all City of Prescott residential customers for the remainder of the month of July. Brush/slash can be brought to the City of Prescott Transfer Station located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Rd between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Please enter the Transfer Station through the fee booth. This will enable the City's Solid Waste Division to accurately track the amount of material being brought in. Be prepared to show proof of being a residential customer by bringing a copy of your most recent City of Prescott utilities bill, which includes Solid Waste service.

This opportunity is for residential customers only. Commercial customers will continue to be charged applicable fees for disposal of brush/slash.

Please do not bag brush/slash, place trash in it, or include processed wood products. Loads mixed with these other materials will be deemed to be solid waste, for which regular disposal fees will apply. Also, please remember to cover and contain all loads while in transit.

For further information, contact the City of Prescott Transfer Station at 777-1116.
